by downloading or using paume, you agree to these terms. they're written in plain language — no tricks, no fine print designed to confuse you.
paume is an AI-powered palm reading app. you photograph your palm and receive a personalized reading generated by artificial intelligence. the readings are for entertainment and self-reflection only.
this is important, so we're being direct:
you must be at least 13 years old to use paume. the app is rated 12+ on the app store. if you are between 13 and 18, you should review these terms with a parent or guardian. if we learn that a child under 13 is using the service, we will take steps to delete their data (which in paume's case means instructing them to delete the app, since all data is on-device).
paume doesn't require an account for your free reading. if you choose to sign in with apple (for subscriptions or compatibility readings), you're responsible for keeping your device secure. all reading data is stored locally on your device — we don't maintain accounts on our servers.
paume offers two subscription options:
payment is charged to your apple ID account when you confirm the purchase. subscriptions auto-renew unless you turn off auto-renewal at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
how to cancel: open the settings app on your iphone → tap your name → subscriptions → paume → cancel subscription. you can also manage subscriptions directly from paume's settings screen. cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you keep access until then.
refunds are handled by apple through their standard refund process at reportaproblem.apple.com.
paume offers a free tier that includes:
the free tier has no time limit, no trial period, and does not require a subscription or payment method. it's genuinely free.
you agree not to:
your stuff: your palm photo and the reading generated from it belong to you. you can screenshot it, share it, post it anywhere. the reading text and diagrams created for you are yours to use however you want.
our stuff: the paume app, its design, code, branding, name, and logo are owned by paume labs llc. you can't use the paume name, logo, or brand assets to create your own products or services, or to imply an endorsement or partnership.
shared content: when you share a reading or summary card that includes paume branding (the "paume" watermark), you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use that shared content for marketing purposes (like reposting user screenshots). your palm photo and personal data are never used for marketing.
paume is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. specifically:
our total liability to you for any claim related to paume is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. for free users, our liability is zero.
you agree to indemnify and hold paume labs llc harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the app, your violation of these terms, or your sharing of reading content with others.
you can stop using paume at any time by deleting the app. we can suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms. if we terminate your access, any active subscription will be handled through apple's standard process.
we may update these terms occasionally. if we make significant changes, we'll notify you through the app or on our website. continued use of paume after changes means you accept the updated terms.
these terms are governed by the laws of the state of wyoming, united states, without regard to conflict of law provisions. any disputes will be resolved in the courts of wyoming.
